Gross and Suzette Olson. Gross will be Olson Hagel's new Political Reports Manager and Olson will serve as Political Reports Assistant Manager. "We are very excited to move Belinda and Suzette into their new positions," said Diane Fishburn, a partner in the firm. "It is a fitting reward for their commitment to success in serving our clients." Gross has worked for Olson Hagel since 1993 as a Political Reports Specialist. Before coming to Olson Hagel, she was a Clerical Assistant at C.S.U. Sacramento, where she had earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 1991. Olson's career at Olson Hagel dates back to 1982 when she came to the firm to create, develop, and manage the Campaign Reporting Unit. She worked in this capacity until 1989. Olson returned to the firm in 1995 part time, and now will rejoin the firm full time in her new capacity. Olson is a U.C. San Diego graduate with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Spanish Literature. Olson, Hagel, Waters & Fishburn was founded in 1977. The firm serves as General Counsel to the state Democratic Party and advises numerous candidates, elected officials, political action committees, ballot measure committees, lobbyists and contributors on laws that regulate political conduct. The firm's Social Security Unit represents clients from the initial application process through litigation in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
